On our Way Home

Over the last three days we visited Lisbon in Portugal and yesterday we were in Vigo in Spain. Arcadia departed last night at 18:00hrs for Southampton. The swell across the Bay of Biscay was up to its usual standards and the boat rolled all night. On waking this morning it was surprise surprise, bright sunshine and calm seas, a rare occasion in these waters. At 12:30 we are approaching the English Chanel so our Grand Voyage is coming to an end. It was a fantastic trip and one to remember for a very long time. Tomorrow we leave the comfort of our ship, for the last two months and back to reality of day to day living.
