Goodbye OZ
Today our last port of call in Australia was Yorkies Knob, it has no port facilities so Arcadia lay at anchor a couple of miles off shore. Passengers were transported to shore by large catamarans or Arcadia lifeboats. Cairns the capital city is only 20 minutes away and as Carol and i had visited before did not go on any organised tours, instead we went shopping, how surprising. This area is very tropical and although the sun was not shining the humidity must have been 90% with the temperature in the mid 30s. Tonight at 17:30 we head for the island of Guam, this will take 4 days due to the distance, which i believe is around 2500 nautical miles
