Today we arrived in Brisbane and arranged to go on a trip 1 hour and 30 mins away to Surfers Paradise, this was one of the areas Carol and i visited in 2007 when we drove and flew about OZ. This is a great part of the country, sub tropical and would be the place for us to stay if we left the UK for good. The only bad point is that it is so far from the UK, unlike going to our house in Cyprus our 5 hour flight would equate to 23 hours of Non stop travel.
This area is where they film I am a celebrity get me out of here, and today we passed the hotel where they all stayed.
Tonight we set sail for Yorkeys Knob, near the Whitsunday Islands, this will take 3 days to get there, after this it is 7 days at sea before we reach the island of Guam and then Japan.
